What is Towards Zero Waste?
The Towards Zero Waste movement challenges us all to think about waste differently. After all, what is 'waste' but a potential resource? When moving Towards Zero Waste (TZW) one gives careful consideration to the products used in their business and where they might end up afterwards. The goal is to reduce our impact by minimizing resource use and reducing the amount of waste sent to the landfill. Often the first step on your TZW journey, assessing your baseline waste footprint is necessary. Waste Loop will work with you and your staff to measure your waste stream through a site visit and waste audit. Subsequent audits are a great way to measure progress, engage staff, and share data with your community!

Waste Loop believes that waste reduction should be accessible to all community members and organizations; we do not want cost be a barrier for implementing TZW practices. Fortunately, Waste Loop is able to offer micro-grants to help offset the upfront costs of hosting a TZW event and free consultation event planning.
